...: College Internships :...
Our college internships are all based on weekly progression schedules. Students begin by gaining an understanding of the various jobs and day to day operations of the museum. They will proceed to take on increasing responsibilities which reflect their particular interests - either child or research oriented. There will be a final project or requirement for each internship type. For example, those interns interested in educating children will show confidence in working with the school and scout groups regardless of age or gender; while those interested in research will complete a final paper or presentation such as an age appropriate lesson plan or activity focusing on aspects of the Chinese or Oaxacan cultures.
